ELC youth dance company

East Lothian Youth Dance Company will be performing Lights, Music, Action! at Brunton Theatre on Friday 24 September 8.00pm.
East Lothian Youth Dance Company and their surprise special guests present their latest performance inspired by the music and moves from films and musicals.
These talented young dancers have been carrying out detailed research to create an entertaining and inspiring performance.
Will your favourites be amongst their selection?
Last year’s ‘Making Moves to 80’s Groves’ was a great success so book early!
The Company’s dancers come from throughout East Lothian to attend weekly rehearsals in Haddington. Dancers are selected by audition and are aged between 13 and 18 years.
The Company is run by Dawn Hartley, Dance Artist with East Lothian Council’s Arts Service.

Brunton Youth Theatre will be performing their Showcase at Brunton Theatre on Saturday 23 October at 7.30pm.
A new production by Brunton Youth Theatre, performed by the oldest group, the 15-18 year olds.
This fabulous show is devised by BYT, working with a professional Director. The young actors work on the show in the Rehearsal Room at Brunton Theatre. With expert help from the Theatre’s technical staff the show then transfers to the stage.
More information about the show is available from the Box Office or BYT members themselves.
BYT offers young people a fantastic opportunity to learn a huge range of theatre skills through workshops, rehearsals and performance in a fun and supportive environment.
