School Estate Management Plans provide a focus to identify and draw together needs, priorities and funding streams associated with major capital works at schools.
The East Lothian School Estate Management Plan March 2006 will allow us to consider a range of school estate issues collectively and to take a long-term corporate view on these issues.
In East Lothian a key driver will be the anticipated increase in the population.

It will inform the detailed implementation plan which will set out the phased action that balances maintenance, refurbishment and replacement requirements against a realistic assessment of available financial resources.
