Bridges and Structures

The Structures Unit of the Road Network Management Section is responsible for ensuring that all structures associated with the local road network of East Lothian including bridges, culverts and retaining walls are maintained satisfactorily.

In East Lothian, there are over 300 bridges and culverts constructed of masonry, concrete, steel and timber.
