The purpose of the Single Outcome Agreement (SOA) is to display what the Council and the Scottish Government are aiming to achieve for the benefit of communities in East Lothian. From April 2009 the Single Outcome Agreement for East Lothian will be extended to cover each Community Planning Partner along with the Council and Scottish Government. The commitments made in the Single Outcome Agreement will provide a shared direction for each of the different partner organisations. Contributing to the same shared outcomes should lead to increased co-operation between partners leading to more effective services and better results for communities.
Regular updates on the Community Planning Partnership's progress in preparing the 2009/10 Single Outcome Agreement (SOA) and information on national developments regarding SOAs will be posted on these pages.
